Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect machined components using appropriate measuring equipment.
- Read and follow blueprints, specifications and inspection requirements.
- Record and maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation.
- Identify dimensional or quality concerns and report findings to appropriate personnel.
- Support first-piece, in-process and final inspection activities as needed.
- Assist with the organization and calibration of inspection tools and gauges.
- Work with machinists, supervisors and quality personnel to address production concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe inspection area.
- Follow established safety, quality and manufacturing procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Technical or manufacturing-related education is beneficial.
- Previous quality-control, inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment is helpful.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training and hands-on experience may be considered.

Physical Demands
This position requires working in and around a precision manufacturing environment. Job duties may involve extended periods of standing, walking and sitting along with bending, reaching and repetitive hand movements while inspecting parts and using measurement equipment.
The employee must be able to safely lift, move, carry or position parts, gauges and inspection tools as required for the position. The role also requires the manual dexterity, coordination and visual acuity necessary to inspect precision components, read engineering drawings and use dimensional measuring equipment.

Work Environment
This position works primarily in a CNC machining and manufacturing environment. The Quality Technician will regularly interact with machined components, inspection equipment, gauges, production documentation and other manufacturing personnel.
