Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Move, stage and organize materials, parts and production supplies.
- Load and unload materials as needed.
- Deliver materials and components to designated production areas.
- Assist with receiving, storage and inventory organization.
- Verify materials and quantities against job or production requirements.
- Operate material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
- Maintain accurate material and inventory records.
- Keep storage, production and material-handling areas clean and organized.
- Follow established safety, quality and manufacturing procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous material handling, warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience working in a production environment is beneficial.
- Previous experience with material-handling equipment is helpful.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training and hands-on experience may be considered.

Physical Demands
This position requires working in and around a manufacturing and material-handling environment. Job duties may involve extended periods of standing and walking along with bending, reaching, lifting and repetitive movement while handling materials and completing assigned tasks.
The employee must be able to safely lift, move, carry or position materials, parts, containers and production supplies as required for the position. The role also requires the coordination, mobility and visual awareness necessary to move materials safely around production and storage areas.

Work Environment
This position works primarily in a CNC machining and manufacturing environment. The Material Handler will regularly interact with raw materials, machined components, storage areas, material-handling equipment and other manufacturing personnel.
Employees are expected to follow all established safety procedures, maintain an orderly work area and use appropriate personal protective equipment when required.
